Labview Test Engineer at Manpower Engineering

Our client is seeking a LabVIEW Test Engineer to provide subject matter expertise to build and improve test facilities involving mechanical and electrical systems, data acquisition, and control/automation. This role leads initiatives to prepare the equipment, people, and processes to support the development of products and technologies across client’s portfolio. Seeking candidates who are Test Engineers that have used LabVIEW to control test cell conditions.

Position Responsibilities

• Apply technical skills related to mechanical and electrical HVAC systems toward new product development engineering activities
  
• Act as primary technical resource for troubleshooting issues with test cells, instrumentation, data acquisition software, and test units.
  
• Create technical project plans for new or upgrades to existing capital test equipment.
  
• Champion data collection process, from acquiring signals to data verification & reporting
  
• Develop new testing methodologies for incorporation into existing  testing methods and procedures.
  
• Analyze and interpret data from test results.
  

• 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree from ABET accredited institution
  
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  
• Expert in HVAC equipment and HVAC testing
  
• Proficient with lab software, data acquisition and analysis
  
• Experience with PLC and PID controllers
  
• Experience working in R&D center/lab setting
  
• LabVIEW experience and/or certification desired
