The Registered Nurse—Certified Lactation Consultant is responsible for providing lactation management services to expectant and new parents. These functions are performed utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation all while keeping in accordance with the hospital’s philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing required, 
• Current International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Certification
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an IBCLC in a hospital setting
• Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS certification. NRP certified or to be completed within 6 months of employment
• Position requires fluency in the English language to function in job environment appropriately
