Land Representative - Resource Environmental Solutions LLC

RES is currently accepting applications for the position of Land Representative who will be working remotely out of the Philadelphia, PA area.

The mission: You will develop relationships with prospective landowners, both private and public, and community business leaders, thus securing property rights and enabling project realization. This position involves interaction with many RES functions, including sales, regulatory, field operations teams, analysts, and in-house counsel –communication skills are crucial to success.

What your day-to-day might look like?

This position will require 50% travel across PA, WV, NY, OH, & NJ, including overnight stays.

You will spend most of your time acquiring land for new deals - researching suitable landowners, contacting them, and updating software reports. You will then lead the negotiations with the selected landowners on their properties, sometimes involving overnight stays.

You will also assist in due diligence items, including survey and title, and preparing and organizing closing documents. Sometimes, your assistance will be required to develop projects in the proposal process for projects in different phases.

You will be doing analytical work - analyzing property data and land records for the suitability of restoration sites, running numbers associated with acquiring new land assets, working with management to prepare and maintain monthly cash flow statements, and assisting in creating preliminary project budgets.

• BA/BS in Real Estate, Land Management, Agriculture, or Ecology or equivalent work experience
• Two or more years of experience in land acquisition, real estate brokerage, land management, OR sales
• Acceptable driving record
• Passion for environmental stewardship and conservation
