Responsibilities:
- Perform work on all phases of various landscape architectural projects including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, design review, coordination, and correlation of construction drawings.
- Prepare schematics, design development, and construction documents.
- Develop, modify and review production drawings and edit project narratives and specifications.
- Research materials to determine appropriate selection for the project.
- Plan, coordinate, and administer projects from the initial programming stages all the way through to construction administration.
- Prioritize project assignments to meet market/firm expectations.
- Responsible for the management and ensuring the success of projects from both the client's and the firm's perspective
- Mentor and supervise junior staff to assure their career goals are being advanced to create a dynamic learning environment.
- Contribute to firm growth as an integral member of pursuit teams winning new work.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum 7 years of Landscape Architecture design experience required.
- Professional licensure required.
- Strongly prefer design experience on large projects such as commercial, municipal, residential, or parks/recreation.
- Ability to interact professionally and comfortably with a variety of personalities and communication styles while building and maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Land FX, and Photoshop software.
