Landscape Technician (Stormwater) - Apex Companies, LLC

Location: Lenexa, KS (Greater Kansas City area)
Schedule: 40-55 hours per week, Full Time, Monday - Friday 
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00+ an hour depending on experience
Travel is required for this position. We provide lodging expenses, $55 per diem, and the use of a company vehicle. 10-15 days of travel per month is typical (M-F only).

We're hiring a Landscape Technician (Stormwater) inLenexa, KS to play a key role in providing landscaping and maintenance expertise to service our clients' stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. This position is a driving force behind our Stormwater team's success. If you have prior experience in Landscaping, as a Lawn Maintenance Technician, Construction Worker, General Laborer, or Groundskeeper, or if you enjoy working outdoors, we want to hear from you!

• Routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets) 
• Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties. 
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment. 
• Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck. 10-15 days per month is typical (Monday - Friday).  

• At least 1-2 years of experience with outdoor labor (landscaping, lawn maintenance, underground utilities, construction, grounds maintenance and repair, or similar work). 
• Must pass pre-employment screenings. We are a drug-free workplace. 
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation. 
• Willingness to travel. 10-15 days of travel per month is typical (M-F only)
• Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials 
• Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e. bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
