Large Assembly Operator at Adecco USA

Adecco is currently seeking Large Assembly Operators, Rochester, NY. To be considered for this Large Assembly position, candidates must have a minimum of 2-years previous direct experience in manufacturing environment. The Large Assembly Operator will assemble and pack sheets of metal components of medium and large sized parts, fitting and adjustments of inter-related parts and assembly based on written specifications.  You will work with precision, adhering to safety guidelines to ensure the integrity of assemblies and the longevity of the products you work on.

Responsibilities of the Large Assembly Operator:

•         Follows all safety processes and procedures in accordance with job.

•         Following specific written instructions and/or blueprints, assembles components into finished product.

•         Disassembles and re-builds products per specifications.

•         Conducts quality checks following quality process instructions.

•         Pack and labels product following packaging instructions.

•         Ensures that the work area is clean, orderly, and safe.

•         Inspect parts for defects or damage prior to packing.

•         Make boxes, apply labels, conduct cycle counts, and follow packing instructions.

•         Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

•         Follow directions on packing from Packaging Lead.

•         Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/ manager.

Requirements of the Large Assembly Operator:

•         High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding or metal fabrication is a plus!

•         Proven experience as an assembly operator, welder, or in a similar manufacturing role.

•         Familiarity with welding equipment and processes (MIG, TIG, etc.)

•         Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

•         Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

•         Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

•         Basic knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing setting.

•         Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to50lbs) as required.

•         Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per week
