Pay Rate
$24.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 3 30 pm.

Laser Cutting Programmer Duties and Responsibilities
• Program and set up laser cutting machines to perform cutting, engraving, and marking operations
• Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to generate tool paths and control machine operations
• Optimize cutting parameters, such as speed, power, and gas pressure, to achieve desired results
• Perform test cuts and inspections to verify cutting accuracy and quality
• Programming and nesting of parts from DXF files

Laser Cutting Programmer Qualifications and Requirements
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs
• Strong knowledge of laser cutting techniques, equipment, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Proven experience as a laser cutting programmer in manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs
• Strong knowledge of laser cutting techniques, equipment, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
