About the Job
We are looking for experience Laser Operators for a client site in Hilliard, Ohio. These are great temp to hire 1st shift positions with pay ranging from $20-$23 an hour.
Must have Laser Operator experience.
A laser machine operator's job is to use a CNC (computer numerical control) machine to cut and engrave materials like plastic, wood, and metal. They are responsible for:
Setting up the machine: Selecting lenses, loading programs, and adjusting the machine's parameters
Cutting material: Establishing stop locations and adjusting the laser beam's focal point
Maintaining the machine: Performing preventative maintenance, dimensional inspections, and repairs
Quality control: Checking parts for accuracy and quality, and reporting defective materials
Preparing for shipment: Packaging and shipping parts
Other tasks: Monitoring stock levels, organizing the work area, and assisting other departments
Laser machine operators work in a fast-paced environment and are often found in manufacturing plants. They may need to lift up to 50 lbs, and they should be able to bend, stoop, squat, push, pull, walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time. They should also have good communication skills, be able to read and interpret project documentation, and have basic math skills
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
