Character of Position
As a Laser Tracker, you will be responsible for applying of labor hours to applicable jobs being worked via the Labor Ticket entry process.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for reading and understanding general job requirements as supplied in the QA job folder by the Lead Inspector
- Execution of required Build support or QA function as dictated by the job lineup, TIR and quality plan
- Population of the TIR (Tool Inspection Record) or equivalent customer provided document
- Initiation of any tool tag as a resulting from the inspection activity (In Process or Non-conformance)
- Assist Lead Inspectors, as necessary, with any customer buy-off effort
- Responsible for maintaining Laser Tracker equipment utilized to perform job duties
- Utilization of the Document and Data control procedure to initiate, maintain and complete all electronic inspection records
- Conformance to all applicable QMS procedures and work instructions
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Ability to work independently with written and verbal direction
- Good problem solving skills
- Intermediate use of MS Office programs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of GD&T / FT&A
- Master blueprint reading skills
Experience
- 3 years tooling experience
- 3 years QA experience
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
