About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Lateral Conflicts and Intake Specialist to join our team.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive conflict checks for lateral hires and new client matters, utilizing internal databases and external resources.
- Review and analyze potential conflicts, preparing reports and recommendations for resolution.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for conflict assessments.
- Maintain and update conflict of interest databases and intake systems.
- Assist in the onboarding process for lateral hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Coordinate with the compliance team to implement and maintain policies regarding conflicts of interest and client intake.
- Provide training and support to staff on conflict management procedures and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting conflict management.
Requirements
- 2+ years of conflicts, IntApp and Adereant experience is required.
- Proven experience in conflict management, legal intake, or a similar role within a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in conflict management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
