About the Opportunity:
Join an established precision manufacturing team dedicated to excellence in the production of complex components used across various high-demand industries from aerospace and defense to automative. We are currently seeking skilled CNC Lathe Operators to set-up and operate advanced Swiss and multi-axis CNC Lathes while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate advanced Swiss and multi-axis CNC Lathes, including machines from Miyano, Citizen, & Puma
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately run programs.
- Adjust machine settings to handle tasks such as cutting, aligning, and drilling of parts as specified by work orders.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor output to guarantee all products meet our stringent quality standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering and quality control teams to discuss and resolve machining or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience running programs on Swiss-type OR Multi-axis Lathes made by Miyano, Okuma, Doosan, Hass, Citizen, Star, Tsugami, or Tornos is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
