Launch Mission Feasibility Engineer - Sigmatech, Inc.

Support U.S. Government customer activities related to initial mission design for launch service procurements. Applicants must have Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Required Experience:

• Solid foundation of structural static and dynamic fundamentals
• Spacecraft and launch vehicle loads development/validation
• Prediction/validation of low and high frequency structural dynamics and loads
• Rigid and flexible body dynamics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering with 9 years relevant experience; OR Master of Science (MS) inMechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering with7 years relevant experience; OR Ph.D. inMechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance and be eligible for SCI

Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience with vibration, vibro-acoustics, shock response, and environment generation
• Advanced Knowledge of detailed space launch flight loads
• Knowledge of spacecraft and launch vehicle requirements generation, design, procurement, and program management activities
