As a Laundry Attendant, you will:
- Sort, wash, and fold all linens from guest rooms to the restaurant and banquet areas
- Keep laundry area clean and organized
- Be a team player and assist Room Attendants and Porters, as needed
- Handle all laundry aspects of the hotel from towels and uniforms to bedspreads and blankets
- Treat each hotel guest like a guest in your own home
- Be available to work 2nd shift and flexible with availability on each day of the week and holidays
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Should have knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques. At least one year of experience in hotel setting is a plus. Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical
Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds. Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing and pulling. Must be able to work with cleaning products regularly. Be able to work in a hot environment at various times throughout the year.
