Job Summary
The Maintenance Sr. Turnaround Planner is responsible for leading the planning effort for specifically assigned turnarounds and unit outages. Working knowledge of refinery maintenance craft work and computer systems is required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field plus two years of related craft experience, or
- Associate degree in related field plus four years of related craft experience, or
- Six years of related craft experience, in lieu of degree
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, SAP, and P6, required
Job Duties
- Plan, schedule, and oversee turnaround and outage work utilizing P-6 scheduling and other applicable programs
- Process all material and labor requisitions
- Assist with the development of MTP (Mid Term Plan) budget
- Supervise and lead Planners on an ongoing basis
- Develop, order and track the long lead materials list
- Facilitate the development of work scopes
- Supervise and develop turnaround specific job plans
- Work with contractors to obtain plans, estimates and schedules for their portion of the work
- Participate in constructability reviews
- Supervise and develop turnaround specific schedules and cost estimates
- Develop TMA (Turnaround Maintenance Authorization) and MEP (Maintenance Expense Project) documents
- Develop and maintain all EWR (Extra Work Request) documents
- Issue daily work packages from the turnaround work schedule
- Track and forecast all phases of the turnaround budget and schedule
- Work closely with departments throughout all phases of the turnaround
Job Duties II
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC)
Hourly employees must be qualified as a temporary supervisor according to the Supervisor Development Process (OSDP, MSDP, or LSDP) and meet minimum qualifications listed above.
