About the Job
We are looking to hire a strategic licensed mental health professional as a clinical supervisor to optimize treatments for our clients. The clinical supervisor will have regular, structured meetings with staff to discuss treatments and professional issues. The clinical supervisor will guide practitioners to assess clients’ mental health, develop suitable treatments, and make referrals. You will select, train, evaluate, discipline, and motivate staff. You will ensure the quality of clinical documentation at all times.
To be successful in this role you need to display strong leadership and make prudent decisions to maintain practitioners who can adequately fulfill clients’ treatment needs. Top candidates will be organized, knowledgeable and excellent communicators.
Responsibilities:
- Provide training, supervision, and guidance to ACSW, AMFT, APCC interns and trainees in MSW, MFT programs, and paraprofessional client support staff;
- Reviews supervisees’ documentation of client services and ensures program and QA compliance.
- Supervision of assigned staff includes management, coordination, and direction of the clinical and case management activities of supervisees.
- Position may include providing direct clinical/therapeutic counseling and mental health services,
- Clinical intake/evaluation, crisis intervention, community presentations, and other therapeutic services as needed.
- Participates in the management of Clinical Services with implementation and facilitation of program and transformations as required.
Requirements:
- CA Licensed with minimum 3 years post-licensure experience.
- Min. 1-year experience providing clinical supervision towards LCSW and LMFT license and administrative supervision.
- Applicant must have knowledge and experience with LAC DMH FSP, Child and Adult programs; procedures and documentation requirements;
- must be LPS designated and comfortable with completing 5150 holds for at-risk clients.
- Experience with intensive community-based programs such as FSP, IFCCS, WRAP, etc.
