We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor or LCSW to join our practice. In this position, you will meet with clients, analyze their mental health status, and develop a course of therapy to address their issues. You may work with clients who have substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, or eating disorders. You should have some experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions. Our ideal applicant has a master's degree in psychology or social work and a license from the state. Clinical experience is also a requirement.
Licensed Professional Counselor or LCSW Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet with patients to determine their status.
- Develop a course of therapy for treatment.
- Meet with patients regularly and provide them with the tools they need to overcome their issues.
- Provide references to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a similar field.
- State counseling license.
- Clinical experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, listening, compassion, and soft skills.
