This role will leverage full-stack application development and cloud technologies to drive the company’s AI initiatives, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver substantial value. The CNO IT vision is to achieve TechHappiness for both our business partners and IT associates.As a Lead AI Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Leading AI technology and vendor evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and prototypes to validate potential solutions.Leading the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated AI and ML models and solutions to solve complex business problems.Designing, provisioning, and maintaining scalable cloud (Azure) infrastructures to support AI and ML applications.Developing and overseeing full-stack web applications, integrated with and using AI and ML models.Embedding high levels of performance, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness into the team’s engineering processes and applications.Playing a pivotal role in fostering the company’s implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation in AI workflows.Designing and facilitating model monitoring, fine-tuning, and debugging, ensuring robust and reliable AI solutions.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders, to advance AI solutions and innovation mindset.Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members and IT partners, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Developing comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and best practices for AI and ML solutions.Staying abreast of emerging AI technologies, tools, and methodologies, incorporating them into the company’s AI strategy.The Lead AI Engineer position is well-suited for you if you:Have conceptual knowledge of AI and ML principles, including supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning.Possess strong experience with cloud computing services, particularly in Azure.Are proficient in modern application development, full stack development (e.g., React, Node.js, Python), and SDLC automation tools and workflows (e.g., Git, Jira, Jenkins).Have experience utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure Resource Manager).Have demonstrated experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).Understand data management, data engineering, and big data technologiesHave demonstrated experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Prior experience with API management, integrations, and gatewaysWhat You’ll Need:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field of study7 years of experience leading projects and agile development teams in an onshore/offshore delivery model.Strong experience with cloud computing services, particularly in Azure.Advanced programming and scripting capabilities (Python, R, JavaScript).What Will Set You Apart:Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral; ability to effectively communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders; ability to document AI systems and workflows.An understanding of modern / accepted cloud security concepts and best practices.Insurance industry experienceThe Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchShort-term & long-term disability insurancePaid time off and corporate holidays,Paid parental leaveCompany-paid life insuranceClick on this link for additional information.CNO embraces flexibility and encourages you to work where you’re most productive.
