What you'll do on a typical day:

• Evaluate, define and analyze existing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); configure, test and support business functions
• Educate and give guidance to management on opportunities for process improvements by leveraging applications in the system
• Determine and lead project scope and size; identify and resolve system issues
• Communicate changes, improvements and modifications to management
• Lead sessions with the developers/project teams to comprehend and translate the user requirements into functional requirements, including creating process models, diagrams and charts to provide direction to the team
• Handle configuration changes in the WMS and educate others on changes
• Define and lead the implementation of test cases as part of the process
• Lead training to end users for modifications to existing and new processes
• Create ad-hoc reports when needed by distribution center operations

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
• 4 years of experience in logistics system implementation and with relational databases, including writing SQL queries
• Distribution/warehousing experience
• Knowledge of automated software systems and implementation
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications and database systems

• Knowledge of SAP
• 5 years of WMS configuration experience
• Solid change management skills
• Ability to obtain cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including stakeholders, project team members and other departments within the organization
• Solid Excel skills, especially building drop-down menus, formatting spreadsheets, creating pivot tables and graphing information
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously
