Position Overview:
The Lead BCBA plays a critical role in maintaining clinical standards, fostering meaningful relationships, and maximizing outcomes for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role combines leadership, clinical oversight, and collaboration to ensure that services are rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and delivered with excellence. As the Lead BCBA, you will work closely with clients, staff, and external stakeholders to create a positive and effective therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to BCBA's and their teams
- Facilitate clinical meetings and be available for regular and ad-hoc meetings
- Review and evaluate client programs to ensure accurate data collection, mastery criteria, and implementation
- Offer ongoing clinical support to BCBAs, including parent training objectives, RBT coaching, and staff development
- Support the Training Manager with on-boarding procedures for new hires (RBTs/BTs)
- Maintain documentation for BCBA candidate supervision and review clinical records (session notes, assessments, etc.)
- Conduct ABA assessments, maintain an active caseload, and meet monthly productivity standards (75 hours/month)
- Collaborate in conducting annual performance reviews and ensuring clinical protocols are followed
- Other duties and responsibilities from time to time
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or higher in a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
- A minimum of two years of leadership experience
