About the Job
The Office of Financial Services is hiring a Lead Budget Analyst.
Here’s what you can expect to do:
Performs expert level professional fiscal/budget management work analyzing departmental and City budget submissions to assure their compliance with standard, accepted practices.
- Performs complex data analysis, project management, and business/fiscal analysis.
- Identifies financial, operational, and strategic challenges, and facilitates solutions. Assists in monitoring resources and assets and providing direction to staff.
- Assists in managing budget development including setting the work plan, managing financial modeling, tracking progress, and evaluating procedures.
- Provides guidance and leadership to the budget team and external partners.
- Communicates complex budget information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences including elected officials, department leaders, and community members.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
