- Project Leadership: Oversee and coordinate carpentry projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are finished on time and meet quality standards.
- Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and provide support to a team of carpenters, fostering efficient and effective work practices.
- Carpentry Work: Execute a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, cabinetry, trim work, and the installation of doors and windows.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, address any concerns, and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Materials and Tools Management: Effectively manage materials and tools, ensuring proper maintenance and minimizing waste.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve on-site issues or challenges promptly to keep projects on track.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in residential remodeling with a strong foundation in carpentry.
- Skills: Proficiency in various carpentry techniques and tools, with meticulous attention to detail and precision.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities, with a talent for troubleshooting and resolving issues on-site.
- Safety: Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and best practices within the construction industry.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; formal carpentry training or certification is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting heavy materials, working in diverse weather conditions, and performing physically demanding tasks.
