Thiessen Design + Construction is looking for a talented and experienced Lead Carpenter/Field Superintendent to oversee and execute high-end residential remodeling and new construction projects. As a key member of our build team, you will take charge of finishing carpentry and managing field operations, ensuring that each project is completed with the highest standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail. - Lead and manage on-site carpentry teams, overseeing project timelines and quality control.
- Perform intricate finish carpentry, including the installation of crown molding, baseboards, door and window trims, and custom cabinetry.
- Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to ensure precise execution of complex design plans.
- Apply creative problem-solving skills to address design challenges and ensure flawless execution of custom elements.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and to our quality standards.
- Ensure job site safety and compliance with all local building codes and regulations.
- Uphold a customer-focused approach, providing high-level service and attention to detail.
- Proven experience in residential remodeling and finish carpentry, with strong expertise in high-end custom work.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and designers.
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass drug and background checks.
