Visions Designers-Builders Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. As a Lead Carpenter, you will oversee and execute all aspects of carpentry work on commercial construction projects, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency. This role involves coordinating with project managers, supervising carpentry crews, and ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.

- Project Execution: Perform and oversee all carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and installation of structures and fixtures.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of carpenters, providing direction, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Coordination: Work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless integration of carpentry work with overall project plans and schedules.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all carpentry work meets the company's standards and project specifications.
- Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols on job sites, ensuring that all team members adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Material Management: Order and manage materials and tools needed for carpentry work, ensuring timely availability and optimal use of resources.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, material usage, and progress reports.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of carpentry experience, with a focus on commercial construction projects.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of carpenters, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Tools & Equipment: Extensive knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and materials.
- Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in carpentry is a plus.
