• Lead and oversee daily carpentry operations on job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Perform high-end carpentry work, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and custom woodwork.
• Read and interpret blueprints, design plans, and technical drawings to execute tasks with precision.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure alignment with the overall vision and design of the project.
• Supervise and mentor junior carpenters and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Manage material orders, inventory, and on-site logistics to maintain efficiency and project flow.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and building codes.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets Thiessen Design + Construction's high standards.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to project managers and clients.

• 5+ years of experience as a carpenter, with a focus on high-end residential projects.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of carpenters.
• Expertise in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and custom woodwork.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
