Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Lead Civil Engineer for our client, a growing engineering firm in the Pittsburgh region.
Job Summary:
Performs supervisory and administrative duties within the department, establishes job assignments, controls manpower, and guides the design of projects and the employees in the department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Administration of the Department
- Manpower
- Problem Solving
- Calculations
- Specifications
- Project Budget Management
- Customer Interaction
- Preparations and Review of Construction Engineering Estimates
Skills and Educational Requirements:
- B.S. degree with fifteen (15) years of related experience.
- Professional Engineers License a plus.
- Competency in Civil design and drawing software.
Inter-Relationships:
- Competency in conducting all types of group discussions, as well as communication with divisional and corporate management.
- Daily contact with clients.
