**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Lead Cook to join our culinary team and oversee the preparation of meals in our kitchen. The Lead Cook will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of kitchen staff, ensuring that all recipes are followed accurately, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience working as a Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Certification from a culinary school or training program is a plus
**Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
- Ensure that all food preparation is done according to recipes and standards
- Collaborate with the Chef to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train new kitchen staff and provide ongoing coaching and development
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
