About the Job
Minimum of 3-4+ years’ experience working in a similar volume-based business that represents the global culture and consistent, approachable, and elevated dishes
Culinary-trained and professional who is passionate and curious to develop and grow as a Chef
Must possess consistent and stable work experience & encompass the desire to operationally support the business as an individual contributor and leader
Well-versed and timely email etiquette as well as written and verbal communication
Experienced in training and leading teams as well as production of ample quantity food; preparation and excellent knowledge of quality food operations
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year cooking experience in institutional or restaurant food service, including demonstrated techniques of using standardized recipes and sanitary food handling, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATION: Employee ServSafe certified.
EQUIPMENT USED: Kitchen equipment may include a knife, slicer, chopper, processor, blender, oven, fryer, grill, steam table, etc.
OTHER SKILLS: Ability to perform all preparation requirements in the kitchen. Ability to follow directions. Ability to use a knife. Ability to read and follow recipes. Ability to locate and pull all required ingredients one day in advance and write a needs list for items missing. Ability to follow portion control guidelines established in the production records and recipes. Ability to cover the grill. Ability to prepare the salad bar.

Ability to work flexible hours in food service operations. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
