**Job Summary: **

The Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP) oversees the general operations of one or more classrooms on their assigned shift. All Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide direct support and supervision to individuals at the program locations, including during transit and in the community.

**Responsibilities: **

- Interactions with individuals and fellow staff reflect the agency's mission and values.
- Ensure compliance with employee, administrative, program, and training policies and procedures.
- Oversee the general operation of the assigned classroom.
- Monitor and complete all necessary paperwork such as Medicaid Waiver forms, sign-in sheets, repositioning sheets, and diet lists.
- Collaborate with the Life Skills Instructor to maintain necessary supplies in the classroom.
- Maintain a safe environment by addressing safety hazards promptly and completing work orders.
- Attend to the personal care needs of individuals in a prompt and respectful manner.
- Provide support to maintain the health and safety of individuals.
- Engage individuals in meaningful activities regularly.
- Complete program documentation following agency procedures.

**Qualifications: **

- High School Diploma/GED.
- Valid Illinois Driver's License.
- Successful completion of CANTS, LEADS, and State Police checks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Successful clearance of pre-employment drug screening.

**Salary: **

$20.00 per hour

**Work Location/Hours:**

Burr Ridge, IL / Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
