Lead daily operations of electroneurodiagnostic testing area.
- Participate in monitoring, guiding, and evaluating staff performance, specifically productivity and quality management.
- Assist with coordinating activities, prioritizing workflow and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving.
- Perform the duties of a technologist.
- Provides consultation for and/or management of patients requiring complex or advanced treatment.
- Serve as a positive role model for staff and patients by working with them to promote teamwork and cooperation.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Technologist specializing in Neurophysiologic Intraop Monit credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic
Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. - Tech specializing in Nerve Conduction Study obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific
experience required.
ABRET Registered EEG - REQUIRED
Schedule - Monday - Friday - 6:00am - 2:30pm, with some on call requirement
