Lead Engineer, Process - Coherent Corp.

• Semiconductor Wafer Fab process Engineer
• Sustain RIE and PECVD process/tools for 24x7 wafer fab.
• Work on-site.

• Develop and sustain RIE etch and PECVD dielectric deposition process for 24x7 wafer fab.
• Maintain metrology tools for thin film such as thickness, RI measurement.
• Dispose lots on hold.
• Maintain travelers.
• Communicate and collaborate across multiple teams including process engineering, product engineering, manufacturing, design, and failure analysis groups.
• Analyze statistical process control (SPC) data and respond appropriately to ensure processes are in control.
• Investigates and finds root cause of wafer scrap.

• PhD., M.S., or B.S. in Electrical Eng., Chemical Eng., Mechanical Eng. or equivalent experience in the related fields.
• 5 or more years of hands-on experience in characterization and processing of compound semiconductor materials.

• Experience with device fabrication especially in dielectric etch and deposition.
• Experience with metrology tools such as interferometry and ellipsometry.
• Experience with SPC rules, control charts, and other aspects of manufacturing / operations are required.
• Experience with PFMEA, DOE (design of experiment)

• Candidate to work on-site, Monday through Friday
• Able to work in a clean room.

Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed, proper training, work instructions, required PPE is available, and will monitor compliance.
