of being a fully remote in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CO, Dis. of
Columbia, FL, GA, MA, MD, MI, MN, NH, NJ, NC, OH, OK, OR, TX, UT, VA, WV
only. Alternate work location is San Antonio, Tx.
Objectives of this Role:
- Responsible for design, analysis, documentation, verification, and
test of spaceflight electronics hardware for command and control,
data storage, signal processing, power generation and distribution,
and communications;
- Work on the full lifecycle design for related spaceflight
electronics in high reliability systems for space applications;
define requirements, write specifications, perform analysis and
implement designs from concept to hardware; lead and work with team
of engineers.
- Interface with customers, and compile and present data to justify
design.
- Work with team of engineers across the technical spectrum.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Develop hardware solutions for various spacecraft systems.
- Support simulation, analysis, and test of hardware to verify
technical performance.
- Provide input to software and FPGA designs.
- Leading and supporting proposals for space electronics.
- Complete documentation efforts associated with hardware designs,
including specifications, user manuals, and test plans.
- Identifying and leading internal research and development efforts.
- Mentoring lower level hardware developers and identifying training
opportunities for entry level staff to help and guide in career
growth.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or
Computer Engineering.
- 5 years: Leading development of hardware for high reliability
applications.
- 5 years: Leading team of engineers through electrical hardware
projects meeting cost, technical and schedule constraints.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.

- Salary Range: $95,930-$179,109
Special Requirements:
