Job description:
We are looking to hire an expert who is passionate about virtualization and cloud computing technologies in leading Virtualization Management.
Key responsibilities:
+ Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere, vCenter, and related infrastructure in a private cloud environment.
+ Configure and optimize VMware environments for performance, scalability, and security.
+ Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
+ Automate VM provisioning using VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) or other tools.
+ Integrate VMware APIs with other systems (e.g., ITSM, CMDB) for streamlined workflows.
+ Develop scripts for automated tasks using PowerShell, Python, or other languages.
+ Collaborate with automation team to implement efficient workflows and integrations.
+ Extract data from vCenter and other VMware tools for capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization.
+ Develop dashboards and reports using VMware vRealize Operations (vROps) or other tools.
+ Analyze data to identify trends, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall infrastructure efficiency.
Required Skills:
+ 5 years of experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and related technologies!
+ Expertise in VMware automation tools (e.g., vRA, PowerCLI, VCD).
+ Strong understanding of API integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP).
+ Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
+ Experience with private cloud infrastructure and management.
Good to have:
+ VMware VCP-DCV or higher certification.
+ Experience with cloud management platforms (e.g., OpenStack, AWS).
+ Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
