PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provides Lead Technician direction to departmental personnel assuring the timely delivery of environmental services, sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in a timely manner and promotes harmonious relationships between personnel and all other contacts to optimize customer service and satisfaction.
MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
- None
Experience:
- Must have four years of environmental services experience in a healthcare or related institutional setting, or equivalent college education and/or management experience supplementing/substituting for work experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Must complete departmental training and testing specific to the department.
Certification/Registration/Licensure:
- N/A
Skills or Special Abilities:
- Must be able to follow both oral and written directions.
- Must be able to demonstrate sanitation techniques, and the use of cleaning materials.
- Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of specialized cleaning techniques and all Environmental Services cleaning equipment.
- Must be able to relate well to others and fellow employees and be able to demonstrate techniques and relay procedures to assigned personnel.
