Your New Role
As our Lead Estimator, you’ll be at the heart of our bidding process. We need someone who’s not just good with numbers but someone who can think strategically and innovate at every step. Here’s what you’ll be up to:
- Bid Strategies: You’ll lead the Go/No-Go process, review bid packages, and deliver estimates that position us as front-runners.
- Project Estimates: Analyze everything—civil, electrical, structural, mechanical specs—to create precise, competitive project estimates.
- Communication: Collaborate with our Business Operations Manager to lock in new business and ensure smooth handoffs to project teams.
- Management Skills: Create efficient systems that drive our success while juggling multiple demands and shifting priorities.
- Interpersonal Skills: Build strong relationships across teams, promoting teamwork and implementing new initiatives.

- 8+ years of experience in estimating, with a focus on heavy industrial, transportation, infrastructure, road work, and public works contracts.
- Demonstrated proficiency in both conceptual estimating and take-off estimates.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience estimating projects of $10M or larger.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of McCormick estimating software preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
