Position Overview:
The Lead Lube Technician is responsible for overseeing the lube technician team and ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely completion of vehicle maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to train and guide less experienced technicians. The Lead Lube Technician ensures that all services meet dealership and manufacturer standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
The pay range for this position is based on experience and qualifications: $20.00 - $23.00 Per Hour.

Essential Functions:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Supervise and lead the lube technician team, ensuring quality and efficiency in service delivery.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to lube technicians.
- Inspect and approve completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding maintenance needs and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
- Stay updated on manufacturer specifications and service guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels for lube and maintenance supplies and order as necessary.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid driver's license and favorable motor vehicle record
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proven experience as a lube technician or in a similar role, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance processes and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
