We are looking for an experienced and energetic Lead Floral Designer to bring fresh ideas, leadership, and passion to our growing team.
Summary of Responsibilities
The job involves leading and inspiring a team of floral designers while fostering a creative and organized environment. With positivity at the forefront, you will lead with enthusiasm and serve as a role model for the Bussey's team. Most importantly, you will ensure a supportive atmosphere that encourages growth and high standards for all!
Essential Functions
- Lead and inspire a talented team of floral designers, fostering a creative and supportive work environment.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery staff to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
- Oversee design and production in the workroom, ensuring that all designs meet our high-quality standards, exceed customer expectations, and are delivered on time.
- Manage and price events, including weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions.
- Take charge of event production, from concept to execution, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive, upbeat atmosphere and serve as a role model for efficiency and productivity.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- 3+ Years’ experience in Floral Design
- 3+ Years’ experience in Sales
- 1+ Year experience in Leadership
Compensation
- $35,000 base salary, plus productivity incentive
- Paid holidays
- 2 weeks PTO
- Simple IRA plus, 3% match
