We're seeking a dynamic Lead Fulfillment Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.
Location: Cheshire, CT
Salary range: Starting at $22/hr (contingent upon experience)
Schedule: M-F 9 am – 5:30 pm (every third weekend rotation)
Reports to: Pharmacy Fulfillment Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the workflow, timely releases of deliveries
- Leading pharmacy technicians
- Submit, export, print, pull, seal, label, pack and tote medications in all areas of the fulfillment
- Maintains logs, records and other required documentation
- Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy
- Communicate with other fulfillment leads as well as other fulfillment departments.
- Maintains logs, records and other required documentation, files documentation in the appropriate location
- Assist with inventory control including checking stock for expiration dates
- Operates unit dose packaging equipment
- Assist in the training of other Fulfillment Technicians
- Must lead by example for their team members and have excellent communication skills
Qualifications:
- Must be a Pharmacy Technician licensed in the state of CT with 2-3 years of experience (in good standing)
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred (license must be in good standing)
Skills & Abilities:
- Adequate knowledge of business in relation to organization of a long-term care pharmacy
- Assist Pharmacy Manager and PIC/SP in selection of departmental staff, give orientation and supervision, as well as discipline when necessary
- Plan, administer, organize, and successfully implement activities in relation to the pharmacy dispensing, pre-pack, scheduling, and other operations
- Proficiency in directing, overseeing, and evaluating the work of Team Members
- Effectiveness in maintaining and establishing efficient relationships with team members
- Previous management experience preferred
- Ability to promote a team environment
