Job Description:

• Focus on Policy Center only (not Claims). Candidates with knowledge of both are acceptable, but those with a primary focus on Claims won't be a fit.
• Experience Requirements:
  • 8+ years in Guidewire Policy Center development, with experience as a Technical Lead on at least three large-scale commercial policy product implementations.
  • Proven leadership and post-implementation ownership of Guidewire Policy Center solutions.
  • At least 8 years of experience leading onshore/offshore development teams for Guidewire product implementations.
  • 10+ years of Java development experience; Guidewire Policy Center certification is preferred.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire APIs, Product Designer, GX Model, and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with the Guidewire Rating engine and configuration setup.
  • Familiar with Guidewire Renewal API and data migration strategies.
  • Knowledge of ALM best practices for code versioning, integration, release management, and ongoing maintenance of Guidewire Policy Center products.
  • Skilled in application partitioning within Guidewire to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Expertise in secure software development practices and architectural standards for Guidewire configurations and integrations.
• Methodology and Process:
  • Proficient in Agile SCRUM methodology and tools (TFS, Rally, JIRA, etc.) in a technical leadership role.
  • Experienced in managing DevOps processes, including Builds, CI/CD Pipelines, and Version Control.

General Qualifications:

• Knowledge of commercial P&C insurance is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and guiding teams toward solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
