Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Base Salary to 108k/year - Murfreesboro, NC

• Our client, a trusted global leader in environmental services and innovative products is searching for a Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their onsite team in the Cofield/Murfreesboro, NC area
• In this role, the Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic will offer an exciting opportunity to maintain and ensure the optimal performance of over 40 pieces of various heavy equipment types while overseeing various mechanics.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, overhaul, or modify vehicles and equipment that are complex and involve complicated and varied systems
• Improvise modifications to equipment to correct reoccurring malfunctions
• Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy equipment of various types
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner
• Oversee & manage PM's on equipment as needed on a scheduled basis.
• Manage repairs & work orders
• Communicate timeframes, expectations, and issues to Maintenance Supervisor and the leadership team
• Consistently look for and identify equipment issues that could cause a safety issue or equipment failure, ultimately causing downtime with the unit
• Focused on getting routine maintenance done within the allotted time frame
• Maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Prior leadership/experience in Diesel HE Mechanics
• 3+ years of relatable work experience
• Industry technical certifications AC/MACS 609
• Experience in Sennebogen Diagnostics
• Experience in CAT ET, Cummins Insite, CAT SIS software and diagnostics as well as paperback manual diagnostic
• Leadership ability
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation:

• Base salary to 108k/year
• Annual tool allowance
• Annual Boot allowance
