TEKsystems' client in Minneapolis is looking for a Lead Installation Technician for security systems. This job is on-site in Maple Grove area.

Skills Required:

3+ years experience installing and programming access control, IP based video and intrusion systems.

3+ years experience working in commercial environment with security systems.

3+ years experience with practical internet and networking essentials.

Lenel, Genetec, Honeywell, Softwarehouse, Ccure 900, Openpath, Exacq, Prowatch and AMAG is a PLUS

ability to lead and run an install job on your own

Job Description

TEKsystems' client is growing rapidly and needing to add more support to their team. They will be looking for a candidate that is a good culture fit and has a good understanding of access control, CCTV and intrusion. This is a business unit which has continued to grow and has only been up running for 3 years. They can be doing 100+ door access control installs and working in all commercial environment for their day to day. These projects will range from large to small so they need to be adaptable and flexible with with learning/coaching on the job. This will be our first person on this team and could result in more hires down the line with success filling this role. This Lead will need to be able to manage their own jobs and run it from start to finish.

The owner is very straight forward, said he doesn't have all the technical knowledge but most important to him is culture, attitude and work ethic
