Job Title: Lead, Production Integration and Test EngineerJob Code: 15637Job Location: Palm Bay, FL Job Description:L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Production Test Engineer with previous experience in maintaining and troubleshooting production test equipment using Factory Test procedures for large scale military avionics production lots. The Engineer will be the lead of a small group of engineers and technicians while keeping the production test equipment at a high availability rate to meet production delivery schedules. This also includes engineering diagnostic analysis and root cause analysis of faulty Test Sets and test equipment. Essential Functions: Responsibilities will include, though not limited to, the following:Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the day-to-day diagnosis of test set failure/breakDevelop and implement enhancements to the test solution design to improve availability, maintainability, usability, and test yieldMaintain test sets for maintenance associated with replacing subassemblies, obsolete or damaged partsLead failure investigations and perform RCCA on any defective test set subassemblies and componentsAssist build team with building new and repairing existing test stations and interface test adaptersAssist in developing and improving maintenance methodologies and mistake proof planning Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related STEM field) and at least 9 years of prior test experience. Or Graduate Degree and at least 7 years of prior test experience. In lieu of a degree, at least 13 years of prior test experience.Experience with the test development process from requirement definition through qualification and production supportExperience with hands-on hardware integration and troubleshootingExperience with Automated Test EquipmentExperience with generating and modifying Test Set drawings and Test Set parts listsExperience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Additional Skills: Experience working with a multi-discipline technical team (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, software, systems)Detail-oriented and organizedExcellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in mentoring and growing technical staff
