We are currently seeking an IRIS Engineer to provide support for one of our valued healthcare clients. This role involves building ADT to FHIR, CCD to FHIR conversion on the IRIS platform. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for guiding the offshore team on IRIS platform intricacies, design patterns, functionality, and facilitating further exploration. This is an onshore-offshore model opportunity.
Looking for experienced Iris for Health engineers, conversion patterns ADT, CCD's 2 Fhir, having experience on IKO's, deployment on GKE clusters
Experience in handling extensive healthcare data, various formats, Interface engines, and Cloud technologies will be highly beneficial for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
Demonstrates strong programming expertise, with the ability to execute a wide range of programming activities with minimal supervision.
Design and implement data integrations using InterSystems IRIS between HIE partners and internal On-prem/Cloud systems.
Debug and fix defects in InterSystems IRIS related any inhouse solutions built.
Develop custom object scripts to meet any client specific requirement.
Develop XSLTs and DTLs to transform CCDA/FHIR/HL7 messages to and from Summary Document Architecture (SDA) format.
Ensure systems development and support, and create design and technical specifications from business requirement specifications.
Oversee best practices design and development, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with fellow developers and Technical Leads
Required Skills
Must have strong software development experience.
Proactive and highly organized with strong time management and planning skills.
Should have experience in InterSystems IRIS for health, ObjectScript.
Must have experience in Integration protocols such as TCPIP/MLLP, SFTP, REST, SOAP
Must be able to create DTL mappings from SDA and workflows to process documents.
Must be able to create custom business services/process/operations
Should have proficiency in CCDA, HL7, FHIR, JSON and XML messaging
Should have proficiency in using development tools like GIT, VS Code
Nice to have GCP/GKE exposure
Preferred Qualifications
GCP engineering technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/sub, Cloud Composer, Big Query, and Health care API (FHIR store)
Knowledge and Experience in Big Query is strongly preferable.
Experience working with health care data and understanding of analytics and how it is leveraged within the healthcare industries.
Prior experience creating FHIR API, oAuth2 authentication, or mapping healthcare data to FHIR resources will be a strong plus
GCP Cloud Architect Or GCP Data engineering certification.
