Lead Java Developer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Lead Java Developer for a contract job with a client in Minneapolis, MN. Seeking a candidate with strong expertise in AWS, Spring Boot, and Java to drive backend development for scalable applications. Candidates must have 8+ years of software development experience, with a proven ability to build reusable components and mentor offshore teams.

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Lead Java Developerjob responsibilities include:

• Building reusable components and class libraries for future use.

• Architecting solutions with high-quality code and optimizing components for maximum performance.

• Developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, and AWS, including REST endpoints for various formats.

• Mentoring and guiding offshore team members while ensuring effective cross-team coordination.

 

Desired Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in software development, particularly with AWS, Spring Boot, and Java.

• Strong familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience in the banking domain.

• Proven ability to mentor and guide team members, especially in a hybrid work environment.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $50.00 per hour
