Primary Responsibilities
+ Promotes safety as the most important value in the organization by adhering to and enforcing all safety policies and procedures.
+ Assists with leadership to all distribution shareholders by motivating shareholders to meet and exceed facility standards
+ Reports all key team's performance metrics
+ Communicates effectively with other departments and levels of management to the mutual benefit of the distribution center
+ Monitors all reports in support of material control activities and initiates all necessary actions to reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner
+ Initiates and leads investigations to identify root cause of misdirected shipments, damages, shortages, or overcharges in freight cost
+ Takes initiative to lead and assist other team members, may include performing production responsibilities
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills / Capabilities
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
+ Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
Education and Experience
+ Typically requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Travel and/or Physical Requirements
+ Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

+ Completes specialized tasks that frequently require the exchange of detailed technical or sensitive information; establishes protocols and procedures
+ Applies expertise as a specialist
+ Uses judgment to identify when deviation from standard practice is required

+ Provides guidance and serves as a technical resource to others
