Job Details
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, test and supervise the manufacture and repair of all electrical equipment
- Have an in-depth knowledge about the manufacturing process and the safety standards related to their field.
- Able to manage a process from conception to completion.
- Work with production and maintenance department to ensure their needs and wants are included within the confines of the project.
- 24/7 on-call duty to help Maintenance and Operators troubleshoot issues or to come into the facility if necessary or connecting them with the resources they need to do their job.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customers expectations
- Provide on-site assistance to employees working on the production lines.
- Lead the manufacturing quality program
MINOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledge of equipment for purchase, installation and repair
- Bridging the communication gaps between design, development, the customer, and the business.
- Collecting and interpreting customer feedback
- Understand the customer needs and be able to interpret customer feedback
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
- Require a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Sufficient industry and supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience with circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and project management skills.
- Work extremely well under pressure and use their innovative mindset and problem-solving skills to achieve their goals on time.
