Overall Purpose: Collect, research and analyze data to identify market trends and make recommendations for the development of new products or services.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manages a wide range of investigative studies to assess the organization’s present and future position with regard to market share, effectiveness of current marketing/sales programs, and feasibility of new products.
- Design and implement data collection methods, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Provides research findings and works with marketing management to facilitate development of effective marketing plans and programs.
- Provides consultation on the identification of marketing opportunities, and aids in the assessment of departmental opportunities for improvements in marketing information.
- Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure research objectives are aligned with business goals.
- May provide guidance and oversight of work to less experienced contributors. Considered an expert within the discipline.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in leading comprehensive product development research initiatives from concept through market launch.
- Must have extensive experience working in a corporate setting, demonstrating strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaborative skills in a professional environment.
- Expertise with both quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
- Ability to make informed recommendations to stakeholders on appropriate methodological approaches.
- Project management and vendor management experience.
- Presentation design skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of research data.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during research projects.
- Ability to confidently present research findings to key stakeholders/leaders.
Location: Dallas, TX (must be able to work a minimum 5 days per week out of the office)

Our Lead Market Research Analyst earns between $116,700 - $196,100 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
