As a Lead Mason at Biancofiori Masonry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks and maximizing productivity on the job site. Working closely with the Job Foreman, you will be responsible for planning logistics, directing mason tenders, and overseeing scaffold construction. Your duties will include conducting equipment inspections, managing tool inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized job site to ensure safety and efficiency. Additionally, you will train and mentor new laborers to uphold the company's standards of excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work directly with a Job foreman to plan logistics and execute daily tasks.
- Meet daily with Job foreman to review daily action plans.
- Scaffold Plans
- Areas to set up for masons.
- Direct mason tenders on day-to-day tasks
- Laying out and directing scaffold construction
- Ensure proper use of equipment and tools.
- Communicating on-site material inventory to foreman daily.
- Communicate equipment needs to be foreman daily.
- Maintain scaffold tagging at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Train and manage mason tenders to efficiently tend to the masons to maximize productivity.
- Responsible for all tools on site.
- Manage all tools and equipment ensuring they are stored and inventoried daily.
- Ensure walls and material are covered up and protected as required.
- Ensure a clean and organized job site, staying alert for potential hazards.
- Train new laborers as needed.
Labor Lead is expected to perform and submit the following daily to the job foreman:
- Telehandler inspections
- Forklift inspections
- Scaffold inspections
- Hydro-Mobile inspections
Requirements:
- Required to be on site 30 minutes before the masons start and to stay 30 after the shift.
- Foreman may adjust times accordingly.
- Required to be flexible and go where needed to support the team.
- Previous experience as a mason tender or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of masonry materials, tools, and techniques.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler forklift.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Extremely dependable
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Certification in workplace safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
- Ability to read plans is not required but is a plus.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:30 with 1 hour lunch break
