Lead Mechanical Engineer – RNG Technology and Renewables

Location: St. Louis, MO

Travel: 10-30% Domestic and International

Position Overview:
We seek a skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer with a strong petrochemical background to drive RNG technology projects. This role involves leading engineering efforts, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating on complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical engineering on projects, including P&IDs and drawing packages.
• Design and size process piping systems; select materials and supports.
• Conduct technical project meetings and site evaluations.
• Delegate tasks and mentor junior engineers.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of engineering drawings.
• Manage material procurement and coordinate with electrical engineers and fabrication facilities.
• Travel 10-30% for installation and startup support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years in petrochemical projects.
• EIT certification.
• Experience with piping system design and equipment specification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
