Responsibilities of the Lead Medical Laboratory Technologist:

• Must be knowledgeable in the operation of every laboratory section, perform the duties of a Medical Technologist III and assist the supervisor, and take charge in the absence of the supervisor in monitoring shift operation in all sections of the laboratory.
• Evening shift 2p-10:30p
• No call, weekends required

Requirements of the Lead Medical Laboratory Technologist:

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution plus successful completion of a formal technologist training program
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory performing technical duties
• Must be ASCP, AMT, or AAB certified MT or MLT
• Have state-recognized certification as a Medical Technologist; or be eligible
