Job Title: Senior Mendix Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mendix Developer with a strong background in application development and software engineering. The successful candidate will have at least 6+ years of hands-on experience developing Mendix applications and a total of 12+ years in software development. This role requires a well-rounded understanding of software architecture, frontend technologies, and the ability to provide technical leadership. The ideal candidate will lead development projects, manage technical teams, and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Design & Development: Architect and develop Mendix applications following best practices and organizational standards.
• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business analysts, designers, and other developers to understand and convert business requirements into functional applications.
• Customization: Utilize widgets, microflows, and JavaScript actions to customize and extend Mendix functionality.
• Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, ensure high code quality, and identify areas for improvement.
• Integration: Develop and implement API integrations and web services to connect Mendix applications with external systems.
• Troubleshooting: Provide technical support, resolve issues, and perform troubleshooting for Mendix applications.
• Collaboration: Work with QA teams to ensure unit testing is performed and address any reported defects.
• Industry Knowledge: Keep up to date with the latest Mendix updates and industry trends to inform development decisions.
• Technical Leadership: Act as the technical lead from the IT side, engaging with business stakeholders and senior IT leadership.
• Team Management: Manage a team of developers, ensuring successful project delivery and adherence to timelines.
• Reporting: Prepare and present deliverables to senior IT leadership and business users.

• Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in Mendix application development and 12+ years of software development experience.
• Technical Leadership: Previous experience leading teams and managing project deliverables.
• Certification: Mendix "Advanced Developer Certification" or "Expert Developer Certification" is highly preferred.
• Frontend Proficiency: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Database Skills: Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Onsite-Offshore Model: Experience working in an onsite-offshore model, coordinating between teams across different geographies.
